Welcome to the CIP!

Welcome to the Comprehensive Instructional Program (CIP).  The CIP is a consortium of public school divisions in Virginia working collaboratively to improve student achievement.  Within this site you will find extremely detailed lesson plans for teaching in your classroom.  The CIP is designed to help instructors by providing lesson plans, activities, and assessments that are highly aligned to Virginia's Standards of Learning in content and rigor.  These resources have been submitted by teachers who have demonstrated superior performance as evidenced by their students' scores on Virginia's SOL assessments.

The cities and counties shaded purple on the map below represent the Virginia public school divisions which participate in the CIP consortium.
